Day 1: Luxor – Esna – Matana :
Meet and assist in (airport, station).
Visit West Bank and enter the atmospheric setting of the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of the once mighty pharaohs lie amongst the desert landscape. You can also pay a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the magnificent mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, passing the imposing Colossi of Memnon en route.
Transfer to the board of Dahabiya and sailing till sunset towards Esna.

Day 2 : Matana -Esna – El Hegaz :

Day 5 : Jebel el Silisla – Fares – Kom Ombo :
Breakfast while Sailing to Kom Ombo .
Visit the Temple of Horemheb temple at Silsila with a short stroll looking at the stellas along the river.
Returning to the boat for lunch and sailing onto Fares .
Activity: Discover the most famous village of Fares in the filed of Mango Trees.

Day 6 : Kom Ombo – Companea :
After breakfast visit the temple of Sobek and Horus at Komombo.
returning for lunch and continue to sail for the rest of the day spending the night at Companea.

After a leisurely breakfast we will take a walk around the village and stop for a drink in one of the local houses, this area is where the Nubian people where relocated on the building of Lake Nasser.
We then have a short sail into Aswan after lunch.

Day 1 : Esna – el Hegz Island :
Leaving Luxor behind 60 KM to Esna. We sail to El Hegz Island, a small island in the north of Edfu. During the trip (4 to 5 hours of sailing on the Nile), lunch will be served and guests can enjoy the views. After arrival at El Hegz Island, dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 2 : Edfu Temple – Fawaza Island :
While we sail to El Kab, you can enjoy breakfast on the deck at your leisure. After visiting el Kab’s temple, we will continue on to Edfu (about five hours). After lunch, we will visit the Edfu temple, one of the largest and most intact monuments in Egypt. The entrance to the temple is guarded by two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god. After visiting the temple, we will have time to explore the bazaar to barter for souvenirs, spices or perfumes. We will then set sail to Fawaza Island (1 hour). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3 : Gabal el silsilah :
We set sail early to Gebel el Silsila to visit the temple. We then sail four to five hours to Meneha Island. Dinner will be served on the upper deck of the boat, in front of the illuminated temple, with music to add to the atmosphere. Overnight on board.
Day 4 : Kom Ombo, Daraw, and Kopania :
Take your breakfast at your leisure as we sail on to Kom Ombo (1.5 hours). As we sail, listen to the sound of the water buffalo wading in the shallow water, or admire the variety of bird life on the river. Visit the Greco Roman Temple at Kom Ombo, built symmetrically with two entrances, two halls and two sanctuaries dedicated to Horus the elder and crocodile god Sobek. Lunch will be served as we head to Daraw, where we will visit the animal and vegetables market (El Souk), famous for its camel market. We will then sail to the small island of Kopania (5 hours), where we will enjoy dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5 : Aswan :
Enjoy the privilege and luxury of days gone by as we sail to Aswan, the gateway to Nubia and Sudan. The trip takes about three hours, during which we will breakfast. After arriving around 10 am, we will visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae, the unfinished obelisk, and the granite quarries of the souk of Aswan. Upon returning to the ship, we will enjoy a farewell dinner with Arabic and oriental music. Overnight on board.
Day 6 : Aswan Final Departure :
After breakfast, we will disembark about 10 am in Aswan, where you will continue on to your other destinations.
Day 1 : Luxor – Dahabiya Nile sailing tour starting in Esna :
After you’ve boarded the ship and the anchor is lifted the Dahabiya will glide silently across the Nile. The first stop is 15km down the Nile at El-Kab. This was once a glorious city, but is now a city of ruins and rubble and a reasonably intact city wall. After you’ve had a chance to look around, you’ll return to the ship and your Nile sailing tour will continue on to a small island for the night.
Day 2 : Sailing to Edfu – Horus Temple – Wadi el Shat :
After breakfast sailing Edfu the ship’s crew will throw out the anchor and you’ll visit the best preserved cult temple in Egypt. The monumental temple of Horus, built in honour of the God with the falcon’s head, is easily as impressive as the world famous temple of Karnak in Luxor. After visiting the temple you’ll continue on to the town of Wadi El Shat where you’ll walk through the tropical gardens and countryside. At the end of the day you’ll spend the night on the Dahabiya.
Day 3 : Sailing to Kom Ombo :
After breakfast the Dahabiya will set sail along the Nile again. It’s white sail will snap in the wind until it’s found the right angle and the canvas catches wind. After a while the ship will moor at the excavation site ‘Gebel El Silsila’ and the temple of Pharaoh Horemheb. You can also visit an ancient stone quarry where colossal stones were cut out for the temple of Karnak. After lunch on board the ship you’ll sail on to one of the highlights of this Nile sailing tour, the majestic temples of Haroeris and Sobek at Kom Ombo. Candles will be lit and you’ll have your own candlelight dinner on an island in the middle of the Nile.
Day 4 : Daraw – Sailing to El Koubania :
After breakfast it’s time to hoist the sails and sail towards the town of Daraw. Stroll through the town’s dusty streets that lead to the colorful and lively souks.
The ship will dock at El Koubania so that you can get to meet the Nubian and find out more about their way of life. At the end of the day you’ll spend the night in the Dahabiya.
Day 5 : Arrival in Aswan :
There’s only a short distance left to sail until the ship reaches Aswan. Once you step back onto the shore you’ll say goodbye to the ship captain, the cook and the rest of the crew. Our local representative will be waiting to greet you in Aswan and will take you hotel or airport

The price includes the accomodation for the nights requested, meals as stated on your confirmation documents and taxes. Please note: Some cities charge an extra local tourism tax per person per night, this must be paid directly at the hotel. Hotels occasionally can't provide a promised room for several reasons: typically, either an unforeseen overbooking or having current guests stay longer than originally planned. In most cases the hotel/supplier will inform us (prior to travel) that they are unable to confirm the booking. In this case they will offer a similar hotel to the one you have booked usually in same area and category. If this is not possible then an alternative of a similar/higher standard is offered. The hotel /supplier must fulfill their obligations by arranging alternative accommodation for you and pay (or refund the expenses upon your return - it is imperative to keep proof of payment of taxi to qualify for a refund) for you to get there. If you arrive at your hotel and they inform you on the spot that the room you booked is not available, normal procedure is that if the hotel has availability in another room type of different specifications or higher standard they will offer you an upgrade at no extra cost. If the hotel has no rooms at all available then alternative accommodation of same or higher standard will be offered usually in the same area.
